Training Description:
Every human has experiences in their life that have influenced and shaped their unique autonomic nervous system.  In this training you will learn to create and hold space for your students with increased empathy, compassion, and understanding for the many beings that will attend your classes.  You will walk away with a basic knowledge of how the autonomic nervous system operates from a Polyvagal Theory lens, as well as specific breathing practices, somatic movements and guided meditations to support different nervous systems.  You will gain confidence in how to create a more inclusive, supportive, and empowering experience for your students through increased compassionate awareness, intentional use of language, props, assists, music and lighting.
